Kleenex® Winter Wish promotion

Conditions of Entry

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the Kleenex® Winter Wish Promotion (Promotion) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Promotion commences 00.01 AEST on 29/05/08 and closes at 17.00 AEST on 03/09/08 (Promotion Period). Postal entries must be received by last mail received at 17.00 AEST on 03/09/08.
  3. Entry is only open to Australian residents over the age of 18. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with the conduct of this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
  4. To enter the Promotion, entrants must:
    1. Purchase any Kleenex® Facial Tissue product from Big W,
    2. complete an official entry form by:
      1. Tell us in 25 words or less “what you wish for this winter” (Promotion Question),
      2. write a Kleenex® Facial Tissue product barcode and date of purchase on the entry form,

    3. Send the entry form to:

      Locked Bag 2007,
      North Ryde NSW 1670.

  5. Entrants can enter more than once but must submit each entry separately. The five winners will be chosen at 15.00 AEST on 10/09/2008. The 5 best responses to the Promotion Question will win $1000 worth of Wish Gift Cards each. For further details on Wish Gift Cards, please visit www.wishgiftcard.com.au.
  6. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
  7. All entries must be the sole work of the entrant. All valid entries will be judged having regard to the overall quality of the response to the Promotion Question, including literary composition, creative merit and originality.
  8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. By entering the Promotion, you authorise the reproduction of your response to the Promotion Question (without attribution) on any publications and products the Promoter may choose and the editing of the response to the Promotion Question prior to publication without consultation.
  9. The five winners will be chosen by the panel of judges at 15.00 AEST on 10/09/08 and will be notified by phone and mail. Winners names will be published in The Australian on 17/09/08.
  10. The total prize value in the Promotion is up to a maximum of AU$5,000.
  11. The prize (including any unused portion) cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value (including where the prize is unavailable), subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
  12. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Any entry made with stolen, forged, mutilated, unrecognised or tampered with entry forms will be deemed void.
  14. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected entries.
  15. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the Promotion including the prizes and these Conditions of Entry, subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
  16. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner.
  17. The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner’s name, voice, image and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without additional compensation.
  18. The Promoter and its agents will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  19. All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter requires your personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. If you do not provide the mandatory personal information requested then you will not be able to take part in the Promotion. By entering this Promotion, each entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s personal information to administer the Promotion, announce the winner and disclosing the entrant’s personal information to organisations that assist the Promoter with administering the Promotion and announcing the winner, and to third parties as required by law (including authorities that regulate this Promotion). The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the Promotion, the entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter’s privacy policy (which is available on request). By entering into this Promotion, each entrant also consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. An entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.
