94,000 kids learn how to Sneezesafe
23 June 2010
Winter is upon us, and the Sneezesafe program is in full swing. Sneezesafe is an exciting and fun educational program designed for Australian teachers to teach children aged between 4-7 about coughs, colds and flu and encourage them to use tissues to help prevent the spread of viruses.
The Sneezesafe.com.au website which launched 8 weeks ago, has generated resounding interest for the program with over 1,000 schools already registered, and Sneezesafe lesson plans being taught to over 94,000 students to date.
To communicate the Sneezesafe message outside of schools, Kleenex® have also developed a Sneezesafe Community Service Announcement. This CSA reinforces the Sneezesafe – Catch It, Bin It, Kill It - message, and encourages tissue use, which is especially pertinent at this time of year.
