Kimberly-Clark turns lights out for Earth Hour

On Saturday 28 March from 8.30–9.30 pm Kimberly-Clark will be turning the lights out in support of Earth Hour.

This is just one of hundreds of ways in which Kimberly-Clark is helping to build a sustainable future.

Our other environmental initiatives include:

• minimising our water usage
• continued focus on reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
• a global commitment for all wood and fibre supplies to be accredited to a recognised forest management schemes like PEFC
• environmental friendly packaging
  • for the past two years Kimberly-Clark Australia & New Zealand has been recognised in the Packaging Evolution Awards winning:
    • “Best in Show” and “Best in Personal Care” in 2007
    • “Most Innovating Packaging Waste Management Solution” in 2008
• continuously improving our waste recycling to reduce landfill.
