Kimberly-Clark 2009 Employer of Choice for Women

Kimberly-Clark has again been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women by the Federal Government’s Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA).
The 2009 list featured 111 organisations ranging in size and spanning a range of industries.
To be recognised as an EOWA Employer of Choice for Women, employers are required to meet stringent criteria each year.
Here are some of the reasons why Kimberly-Clark is a recognised Employer of Choice for Women:
- 20% of managers are female versus 18% industry average
- 50% of participants of the Accelerated Program for Leaders (APL) are women
- 50% of participants of the Front Line Management Training are women
- Paid maternity leave
- Part-time work
- Flexible working arrangements, including working from home
