Wayne Jones retires from Kimberly-Clark and successor announced
27 July 2007
A message from Wayne Jones, Managing Director, Kimberly-Clark Australia and President, South Asia for Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
I recently announced my decision to retire from Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KCC) as from the 31st of July 2007. I have been with KCC for nineteen years and I have thoroughly enjoyed my entire career with the company and in particular the last nine years as Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark Australia (KCA), and the additional responsibilities as President South Asia for KCC, over the last five years.
I am proud of what the K-C teams have achieved throughout the period of my leadership – I truly believe that our people are our strength, and differentiate us in the market place.
We value the close relationships we have with our consumers, customers, suppliers, and service providers – without you we could not operate as successfully as we do.
I would like to advise you that Mark Wynne has been appointed to succeed me as Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark Australia and President South Asia for Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
Mark has had a long and most successful career with the Fonterra Cooperative Group in New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. Mark will take up his appointment in Sydney on the 1st October and he will report to Robert Abernathy, Group President, Developing and Emerging Markets.
For the period 1st August to 1st October Peter Bennett, Finance Director for South Asia will act as Managing Director of KCA and President South Asia for KCC.
Thank you for your support and my best wishes for the future.
With kind regards,
Wayne Jones
