Kimberly-Clark wins sector leader in 2006 Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the parent company of Kimberly-Clark Australia, was recently selected as the sustainability leader in the Personal Products sector of the 2006 Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes.
Based on a range of economic, environmental and social criteria, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) track the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.
Kimberly-Clark was ranked best in class among a group of 17 personal care companies worldwide. Kimberly-Clark earned the highest scores in its sector for a number of criteria, including corporate governance, customer relationship management, brand management, strategy for emerging markets, environmental and social reporting, environmental management systems, and product information and impact.
