Kimguard® Sterile Wrap Scholarship
The Kimberly-Clark Kimguard® Sterile Wrap scholarship program has been developed in conjunction with the Federation of Sterilising Research Advisory Council of Australia (FSRACA) and the New Zealand Sterile Services Association (NZSSA) to provide special recognition for Sterile Service professionals.
Send your submission to your SRACA State President or NZSSA President by close of business Wednesday 1st December 2010.
There are two Scholarship Categories available:
| CSSD Scholarship | CSSD Technician Scholarship |
| Managers and Technicians | Technicians exclusively |
| Sterile Service change Improvement of which you have been the principal project organiser | One improvement activity that has helped you as a CSSD professional or helped your hospital |
| Paper documenting the sterile service change improvement in 2,000 words | Poster or PowerPoint presentation the an improvement in 750 words |
| National Australian Award AU$2,500 National New Zealand Award NZ$3,00

Australian State award AU$500 (one per state)
New Zealand award NZ$600 (7 opportunities in total) |
Members of FSRACA and NZSSA are eligible to apply.

Our 2009 Kimguard® Sterile Wrap Scholarship winners (pictured here with FSRACA President
2009 Teressa Normington) include Craig Leach from Flinders Private Hospital in the
Technician Scholarship Category for “Making Lifting Easy” and Maria Anderson from
Mater Hospital Brisbane in the Manager Scholarship Category for “Improving CSSD
Staff compliance to mandatory organisation Education”.
