Why is Kimberly-Clark so passionate about education?
- Because Healthcare-Associated Infections are reaching crisis levels worldwide
- Because we’re with you in your fight to prevent infections
- Because we’re just as serious as you are about reducing the costs to you, your hospital and your patients resulting from these infections
And because we know that a key defence strategy for preventing these infections is education.
What is the Kimberly-Clark Education Foundation?
The “Kimberly-Clark Education Foundation” is an ongoing educational program for sterile supply, operating room and infection control departments. The national program is designed to keep practitioners at the forefront of best practice, industry trends and awareness on infection prevention procedures.
Participation at the Education Foundation events is without charge and attendees will earn CNE points from the RCNA (Royal College of Nursing Australia), as part of their ongoing education in the prevention of Surgical Site Infections (SSIs). Continuing Education Certificates will also be available on request for attendees from New Zealand.
