In-built pouches offered in select drapes collect and contain blood and body fluids, minimising the risk of exposure. Pouches also allow for efficient, easy clean up and fluid management.

Fabric reinforcement

Control Plus* and Control* are high absorbency fabrics positioned around the fenestration to promote fluid control and minimise strikethrough. These fabric panels also reduce instrument slippage.

Positioning tape

Secures drapes in place without compromising barrier integrity, ensures isolation and squaring off of the operative site.

Included in many procedural drapes.

Conformable fabric

Drapes conform to body contours. Their softness and ease of unfolding enables fast aseptic set-up.

This Evolution* 4 fabric with enhanced strength offers thicker and tear resistant capabilities for cardiac and orthopaedic procedures.

Kimberly-Clark® surgical drapes and gowns are manufactured from SMS polypropylene fabric with the benefits of low linting, ignition resistance and exceptional barrier properties for protection from airborne and blood borne bacteria.
