Including scrub suits, single use linen and patient gowns which are made from a layered polypropylene (SMS) fabric and designed to prevent exposure to contaminants.

These products are all latex-free, so there is no risk of natural latex allergic reactions.

Most feature our four-layer fabric or plastic film designed to resist blood strike-through and reduce the potential for cross-contamination.

Ideal for routine patient contact, isolation, decontamination or general clean-up tasks.

  • Lightweight three layered polypropylene SMS fabric which provides a barrier against the passage of microorganisms.
  • Breathable fabric which ensures wearer comfort.
  • Single use, available in yellow, blue.
  • Tape neck closure.
  • Meets a level 1 Spray Impact Test as required by AAMI.
  • Meets a level 2 Hydrostatic Pressure Test as required by AAMI.

  • Fully impervious for when there is the potential for heavy soaking or fluid contact.
  • Thumb hooks for use when gloving to prevent gloves riding up when donning.
  • Cost effective.

Kimberly-Clark* Chemotherapy gowns

  • Film laminate provides impervious protection against microorganisms and a complete barrier against fluid.
  • Tested against cytotoxic drugs** (recommended for use with chemotherapy drugs)

Based on the infection control guidelines from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and the World Health Organisation, the use of personal protective equipment should be used as a standard precaution.

For additional precautions (transmission-based), a long-sleeved gown (plastic apron if splashing is anticipated) is recommended.
