KIMGUARD* Wrap hits the catwalk
20 June 2011
Nepean Hospital holds KIMGUARD* Sterilisation Wrap Fashion Show proving Kimberly-Clark Health Care products are not only the best way to protect surgical instruments on their way to surgery against contamination, they are also super stylish!
In April, employees from Nepean Hospital in Penrith NSW hit the catwalk dressed in their custom made KIMGUARD* Sterilisation Wrap outfits for a special team building exercise initiated by the hospital.
The criteria for hospital employees entry into the KIMGUARD* Sterilisation Wrap Fashion Show was that outfits had to be made by staff using 95% KIMGUARD* Sterilisation Wrap.
Eight teams from various departments participated in the show, with a chance of winning a $100 medical book voucher, donated by Kimberly-Clark Health Care.
There were some truly amazing entries in the show such as ‘The Geisha Toothfairies’ and ‘The Orbit Dress’ that was inspired by Lady Gaga. However, it was the ‘Austin Powers Babies’ group that really took the show.
Kimberly-Clark Health Care Account Manager, Kathy Wilmot, was on the judging panel alongside two Nepean Hospital staff members and presented the winners with their prize on behalf of Kimberly-Clark.
The show was a fun way to increase awareness about KIMGUARD* Sterilisation Wrap among hospital
employees. It was an excellent opportunity for all employees to physically feel and experiment
with the product, and also gain an understanding about the range of benefits and uses of KIMGUARD*
Sterilisation Wrap throughout the hospital.
