“Kimberly-Clark’s support focuses on family, health & wellbeing and environment.”
Our support strategy
Kimberly-Clark’s Community Care policy [PDF, 5 pages, 44 kB] outlines our approach and process for providing community support.
Our strategy is very simple:
- to develop community partnerships that positively impact on the wellbeing of the people that we work with, the people we provide product and services to and the communities we live in
- to enable and support Kimberly-Clark employees contributions to any cause or community organisation of their choice
- to support programs that are integral to our business, involve our employees and further enhance the reputation of Kimberly-Clark.
Kimberly-Clark has identified three key areas of focus which are most closely aligned with our products and key target markets:
- Family,
- Health & Wellbeing,
- Environment
Emergency and disaster appeals
Kimberly-Clark has a long history of supporting emergency & disaster appeals in the Australian community. We will continue to provide this support at a corporate level on a case-by-case basis.
Ad hoc requests
The Kimberly-Clark Community Care Program strategy is to focus its support on the generosity of its people through the Employee Participation program. This is key to Kimberly-Clark’s community support program and underpins the belief that we have a responsibility to the local communities where we live and work.
Kimberly-Clark corporate resources are generally allocated to programs that are sought by us and focus on community services and national programs, rather than conferences, events, or capital appeals.
