The following programs directly facilitate the positioning of Kimberly-Clark as a “good corporate citizen”, raising Kimberly-Clark’s corporate profile as well as supporting the partnership and employee participation programs.

Brand campaigns

Cause-related marketing opportunities provide Kimberly-Clark with a tangible way to demonstrate their commitment to good corporate citizenship as well as to target key customers and retailers.

One of the longest running cause-related marketing initiatives here at Kimberly-Clark has been the partnership between Kleenex® Cottonelle® toilet tissue and Guide Dogs Australia.

More recently the Family Care Division has established a cause-related marketing initiative between Wondersoft® toilet tissue and Clean Up Australia around the Clean Water Campaign.

Local engagement

The corporate partnerships program continues to be complemented by local division and mill community partnerships that allow Kimberly-Clark to effectively engage with the local communities in which it operates.

These initiatives are administered by the individual division/mill.

Research

The research category includes: research grants to relevant medical research programs such as The Children’s Medical Research Institute & The Continence Foundation of Australia; and healthcare grants.

Education

The education category incorporates all educational initiatives such as local work experience programs, scholarships and awareness raising and education campaigns.
