I’m currently the Marketing Manager for Child Care, Baby Wipes and Baby Toiletries. I do this in a 4 day week, which gives me the chance to spend Fridays with my children.
Kimberly-Clark has been really supportive of my needs as a mum. I was actually promoted to Marketing Manager on the Towel portfolio just prior to going on maternity leave with my first child. That’s when I asked for a four day week, which was new to Marketing at the time.
I’ve been here for nearly nine years and have had two kids with Kimberly-Clark. They’ve seen me grow from both a business and personal perspective.
The loyalty that Kimberly-Clark has shown me results in great loyalty back from me.
The people I’ve worked with are the most dedicated people I have every encountered. They’ve also been really supportive and I’ve learnt a lot from them.
I love working with brands I can relate to as a mother. The brands are excellent – there isn’t one mum who doesn’t speak highly of Huggies® products and this makes me fulfilled as a marketer.

I joined Kimberly-Clark a few months ago as Manager, Pacific Islands Development based in Queensland.
I was attracted to the company because of the great brands they manufacture and it’s a large multinational with varied career opportunities.
I love the people here – they are very professional but also very genuine. From the top down, you get the impression that Kimberly-Clark is all about the people.
Everyone is accessible – you can talk to everyone and anyone. This makes life a lot easier. There’s no one who you feel intimidated by – everyone is willing to help out and are open to ideas and will assist you in any way they can. This is very unlike other companies I have worked for!

I’ve been with Kimberly-Clark now for 32 years.
I actually started as a shift worker on the production floor at Millicent Mill, loading shippers onto pallets. I’m now Director of Business Support for Kimberly-Clark Professional Asia Pacific.
It’s not bad sitting in an office overlooking the harbour!
I’ve had a lot of support from the company in terms of career development, but I’ve also made the effort myself. While an operator, I started a course in Business Studies at TAFE and Kimberly-Clark allowed me to work different shifts so I could get to my classes.
Again later I took up a Bachelor of Business Degree and management allowed me to do assignments on the computer and encouraged me to attend all classes.
When I got the job of Finance Manager at our old Warwick Farm Mill, the company helped me relocate. They helped me find a house and allowed my wife and I to look at various locations where we would like to live. We had the services of an external consultant to help us through it. I later rose to become Mill Manager.
It’s a very supportive company. Everyone’s working together, and everyone’s really helpful – there are not many people you can’t go to. And Kimberly-Clark looks after its employees with excellent training and development.

I’m someone with a real desire to grow and develop and learn and try new things, and I’ve found Kimberly-Clark to be a great place to do just that.
Kimberly-Clark gives you opportunities to grow and develop. It encourages proactive approaches and is open to new ideas.
I started 11 years ago as a Cost Analyst in New Zealand, and I’m now Finance Manager for Baby and Child Care and Adult and Feminine Care, managing a team of four.
My various roles have given me broad experience and strengthened my skills at every step. For example I transferred from New Zealand to Management Accountant roles in our mills, and then came to head office in Milsons Point as Business Analyst. My mill experience enabled me to perform this role – it was critical to understanding the issues of a head office position.
The work environment here is busy and challenging and yet you work with great people. The people you’re surrounded by are so easy to get on with that it’s easy to deal with the business challenges.
