Engineering
What’s the program?
As an Engineer on our Graduate program, you will be placed at one of our manufacturing sites in Sydney, Albury or Millicent in South Australia. You will work under the direction of one of our Professional Engineers and will gain a wide appreciation of engineering within KCA’s manufacturing operations.
Your progress will be monitored by Senior Managers who will look for opportunities to appoint you permanently into a role that suits your abilities and interests. Depending on opportunities and fit, this could take three to five years.
What will I be doing?
Typically you will take on a number of small projects in keeping with your abilities. These projects and your overall responsibilities increase in complexity once you become familiar with the site and Kimberly-Clark’s processes.
You will have the chance to move within sites or to other sites in 12 monthly intervals to gain a wide range of KCA experiences.
How do you select Engineering grads?
Kimberly-Clark employs degree qualified engineers from engineering disciplines such as Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering.
We’re also looking for the ability to work with a diverse team and independently; an appreciation of the pressures and demands of a continuous manufacturing organisation plus evidence of potential leadership qualities.
